How to choose a video card
Posted By admin on February 27, 2011

Did your current video card burned or you simply want to buy another and don't know what would be the right choice?
Some popular models are those offered by ATI or Nvidia, but opinions are divided, some say that Nvidia is better, others say ATI.
It doesn't really matters which you choose, but it is recommended to follow these steps before buying:
1. Establishing a budget is an important step only if you have a limit. So depending on price and performance, video cards can be sorted into four categories: entry level video cards, mainstream video cards, performance video cards and enthusiast's video cards.
2. Analyzing the other components of your computer. You need to know first what motherboard you have and what video card slot it uses: AGP or PCI Express slot, AGP is a bit old, so it will be probably a PCI express slot.
3. Best Price – it can be found on the internet, of course, and you don't have to search too much if you know where to look.
