Computer Oriented Versus Printed Tests: A Comparative Study.

A new research study conducted on Irish teenagers revealed that, students perform better in computer oriented tests as compared to printed words. These students were proved to be above average in an international digital literacy, after a test of comprehension of texts conducted on computer.
The education Minister Ruairi Quinn was in the opinion that there has been a decline in reading standards of Ireland over the past 10 years among the 15 year olds. ERC director Dr. Peter Archer said that "Some students found computer context more fascinating than printed test." In 2009, the OECD scored students, in a 40-minute online test on computer and in print. The results of the computer based test ranks Ireland above the OECD average and Ireland ranked 11th on the print reading test.

Apple computer users do not usually need to deal with virus problems, but it seems that things have changed over the last two weeks. Apple computer is the favorite desktop computer of designers, animators and writers owing to its software that makes editing images and writing easier-and also because your usual Apple computer doesn't catch viruses easily.
But since last few days a malware called 'MacGuard' has been making life difficult for Apple computer users. The malware pops up in a window, tells the computer user that there is a virus, and asks to click to remove virus. Once the user clicks on the window, a virus is downloaded and the malware asks for credit card number to charge for removing the virus! It is the first virus to affect Apple computer users directly.
